SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION TODAY 5:00 TIL 9:00 PM

The Mullica Township School Board Election is being held today from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the school gym.

Four people are running for three seats:

Spiros Malaspina (Incumbent)
Lisa Martinez (Incumbent)
Maria "Mia" Jones (Incumbent)
Walter Lyons

Also on the ballot are the two school budgets:

Mullica Township School is asking for a 2.2 cents increase.

Greater Egg Harbor Regional is asking for an 8.2 cents increase.

The Gadfly tries to fill the void by alerting the residents of meetings, events and articles of local interest from various sources. Most importantly, it gives a voice to the people. All residents are invited to share their opinions with anonymity or signed under each article posted. Everyone is invited to send in articles of interest, announcements, letters of your concerns or opinions and even tips about what's going on in your neighborhood that needs investigation.
