Mullica Twp. Community Comes Together

NBC 40 News featured a video on how our community has come together to help one family devastated by the local flooding. Special thanks goes out to the neighbors and community, Detective Sergeant John Thompson, our local emergency management coordinator, Chief Barbera, Mullica Township's Volunteer Firefighters and the Atlantic County Tanker Task Force, and even the mayor for being out there cooking hot dogs for the volunteers. There are others who have had flood damage and are encouraged to contact FEMA though www.aclink.org (on sidebar) for water well testing, etc.

We have a great community and great people on committee who have finally starting working to unify the community and not tear it apart. It's a good feeling to be part of it.

This was a great effort by a group of volunteers from several communities. Hopefully this family's life will get back closer to normal soon.
