Do you think the seniors thought that their property tax rebate would disappear when they voted for Christie?
No new senior applicants for the property tax freeze, either.
What good is a tax credit for low income people?
There are going to be a lot of very disturbed people at this meeting.
Re12:14am
I think the credit will be put directly on the tax bills. I'm sure the cash will be missed by everyone.
Looks like that rebate just before election time didn't help the incumbent. But don't worry, at least the seniors' rebates won't stop coming. Isn't that what Christie promised them to help get elected? Hey, you won't be able to freeze your taxes any longer but guess what, you can apply the delayed rebate to the property tax increases that you will see.
