Mullica Dems owe Chasey an apology
Regarding the Aug. 17 letter, "Press right about Mullica's attack on free speech," from Democratic Committeemen Michael St. Amour and Bernard Graebener:
They owe committeewoman Kathy Chasey an apology. Chief Financial Officer Dawn Stollenwerk verified publicly at the Aug. 25 township meeting that the "Parades and Public Assemblies" ordinance was indeed a result of a recommendation from the Joint Insurance Fund.
These two men scathingly accused Chasey of politicking, and that was obviously not the case. I feel an apology is in order. Perhaps St. Amour and Graebener were the ones guilty of politicking.

By Riffle's logic, the Press must owe Chasey an apology too. It must be a conspiracy.
So, what the letter writer is saying, whatever the insurance company wants, Chasey does. Like charging $100 to use our own park. Like restricting our right to petition the government. We need people who are going to look out for us and not to help line the pockets of some insurer at our expense.
Neither the $100 fee to use our own facilities nor the attempt to close the dump from campaigning were the doings of JIF. They both were instigated by Kathy Chasey. The JIF is just a convenient scapegoat.
I think that St. Amour's and Graebener's charges are absolutely justified. For the past two years of Chasey has been trying to close down the dump. This is public knowledge to anyone who regularly reads the newspaper or attends township committee meetings. The underlying motivation was always been to prohibit her opponents from using the dump.
I would like to know how much money our JIF agent contributes to the Republican party.
The letter doesn't meet the smell test.
Why is Cathy Riffle saying that this ordinance was a recommendation from JIF? Mr. Paul J. Miola,the executive director of the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund(JIF),was quoted in the Press on 8/25/09 that it is highly unlikely that every municipality in the county has these same restrictions and that there is no way a municipality could require groups wanting to protest or campaign on public property to get permission 30 days ahead of time.
There was already an ordinance for Parades and Assemblies on record but Chasey saw JIF's recommendation to improve safety as a way to put in harsh restrictions for her opponents.
No apology to Chasey from the Press or the Dems. They saw through her trickery,lies and her unconstitutional methods to block her competition.

You're right about the smell test.
It's amazing that Cathy Riffle ignored all the facts about the unconstitutionality of the proposed ordinance,Mr. Miola's statements about the other towns,the ACLU's opinions,the Press Editor's opinions and the restrictions placed on the people of this town.
It is quite obvious that JIF never recommended Chasey's version of the new ordinance.
The only people that would have supported this law are blind devotees of Chasey. It seems that Cathy Riffle is the one doing the "politicking". This is nothing more than a spin measure to clean up the bad publicity that Chasey got for her efforts to deceive the public.
We can only hope that there are very few people in this town, like Cathy Riffle,that are being used by Cathy Chasey.
Everyone I know can see right through Chasey's fake cackling laugh,her cherry red cheeks and her lying shut eyes.
There are two types of people in this town that support Chasey, those who are on her team for self profit and those who have not been paying any attention to the town for the last couple of years.
After all the Press articles written about this ordinance,this letter, along with Chasey's and Forman's letters, seems a bit ridiculous.
Another transparent attempt to spin the facts of the matter.
I can only wonder if Ms.Riffle's statements are based on ignorance or collusion.

If your going to write into the Press,which supported the Dems.viewpoint, get your facts straight because you look like an idiot.
Riffle must be getting weekly personal hand-delivered gallons of CC kool-aid at her house. The stuff has a way of shutting down the brain.
I guess that Cathy Riffle is the only lackey who the pudgy, always-fibbing Chasey could get to sign this letter for her.

I prefer to think of this letter writer as being in collusion with Chasey for damage control.
St Amour and Graebener defended our rights as citizens of the US under our Constitution. The thought that this resident of Mullica thinks THEY should apologize to Chasey for her efforts to take the right of free speech away from us is appalling.
I don't want to believe we have people this ignorant in Mullica. If this is Riffle's own opinion,we have a lot of educating to do before the election to get the truth out there.
Maybe Cathy Riffle should read all of the articles in the Press about this and watch the meetings on Mullica news.com.
It seems she's writing something she was told by Chasey without any personal investigation into the facts.

I can just imagine the Press editors shaking their heads in bewilderment at this letter. They know the facts on this subject and now they are seeing how Chasey and her cohorts are frantically trying to cover her bad decisions and political unfairness with spin propaganda.
What happened to Chasey's old flunkies? Are they getting wise to her finally? Is this Cathy Riffle a sycophant of Chasey or a pseudonym for Chasey?
