Get ready for another Press article.
How many news stories have there been so far about this non-democratic group trying to suppress free speech in Mullica? I don't read about any other towns trying to do this around here. Check out Larry's archives and you'll discover that its been a ceaseless thing with them over the past few years. If its not standing outside the dump, then its not being able to put up No Dump signs. If its not that, then its political signs. If its not that, then its not being able to distribute campaign literature. If its not that, then its trying to shut down Gadfly. Then its back to the dump once again after all their other attempts have failed. When will they ever learn that its illegal to try to stop free speech in our country? Are they that stupid or is there something else at work here?
IF YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO CAMPAINE AT THE DUMP CLOSE IT AND HAVE TRASH PICK-UP AT THE CURB. LOOK AT KATHY NEXT TIME YOU SEE HER SHES ALWAYS DIRTY AND AN ODOR FOLLOWS HER, BUT IF YOU ASK HER ABOUT IT SHE'LL TELL YOU (YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN). THAT'S HER FAVORITE SAYING AT THE MEETINGS. YOY KNOW WHAT I MEAN

I would say that there IS something else at work here.
They're only hope of success is to keep as many people is the dark as possible and try to shut out the competition.
The tactics of harassment of free speech,stealing of signs and smashing or defacing the larger signs show the people more about what's going on in this town then words could ever express.

Maybe Bruce Crowe is so proud of his employment with Waszen that he'll put it in his political flyers. The perfect logo for the flyers for both Chasey and Crowe would be a picture of a cell phone with taxpayer dollars dripping out of it.

Not to mention poisoning pets, putting nails in driveways, throwing garbage over people's fences and selectively enforcing ordinances, all to try to intimidate their opponents and their supporters. Its been going on for years in Mullica. No joke, there's even a list kept on who to go after. People get the message to keep their mouths shut and to stay out of it.
This is why they hate the Gadfly so much. We can give our opinions anonymously and they never know who is watching them or who they're speaking to.
