The Prosecutor's raise was already voted on at the last meeting. Why would Kennedy bring it up again and try to give him $2000 more?
Wasn't Kennedy whispering in the Prosecutor's ear about his "pal's" ticket?
Wouldn't we all like to have tickets dismissed so quickly?
Could it be that some more promises were made by Kennedy?
It seems that Cathy Chasey has seen the light and is now the swing vote against Forman and Kennedy. Maybe she has started to look out for her own future and is pulling away from the two anchors that are dragging her under.
Kennedy, the joker, either has no clue that Mullica needs to cut its budget or he's trying to help out a buddy once again. Chasey wasn't going to be feathered by that dodo, this time anyway.
I had no idea that a new fire truck would cost $600,000!!!
It will cost around $300,000 just to refurbish the old one and a rescue truck. That's going to be a problem.
$250,000 grant to clean up the Perona dump. What happens to the land after it's all cleaned up?
Let's see, this is Mullica.
I would guess they give out a "no bid" contract for the clean up to a "friend",then add the land to the Elwood Village for rezoning.
After that it's possible Kennedy, Forman and Chasey will sell the unappraised land to a local "friend" for a ridiculous price like the last time.
The 12:07 AM poster's comments are closer to the truth than one would think.
