That's what Committeewoman Kathy Chasey said in 1996, after voting to have the township pay the legal bill for a colleague investigated for misconduct.

If it was the "law" then again, why have a vote, it should have been just paid.
I think Graebener misinterpreted, once again, the law itself and I guess he'll vote to pay the balance based on his skewed interpretation of the law.
And yes, Ms. Chasey, words do come back to bite you, bite you on your ass, especially when you're up for re-election this year.

Maybe Cathy Chasey changed her mind about paying Kennedy's legal bills because she feels guilty that she was the one that started everything. It came out at the May 13th meeting that she told Kennedy to illegally enter Angel's (whom they both hated)home and search it. At the school board meeting, Kennedy got loud and nasty and said terrible things about the recently deceased Angel and his house. As stated in the Press article on May23rd, the Public Defender criticized Kennedy for entering Angel's house. This led to Kennedy accosting the Public Defender. Kennedy threatened him and warned him not to speak out at public meetings. The Public Defender decided to resign in disgust.
Kennedy was stupid enough to do Chasey's dirty work and now she's getting him off the hook for his bad behavior. I doubt if she would have agreed to pay these legal fees for anyone else.
As stated, the case was dismissed but in no way did Raso find Kennedy innocent. The Judge took pity on an old,stupid man. That was a big mistake on the Judge's part.
Since Larry had a thing for nicknaming people, does anyone remember the old childrens magazine "Highlights"? There were two characters in there, "Goofus and Gallant". This featured two contrasting kids and how they reacted to a situation. Goofus always chose the wrong path and Gallant always did the right thing.
Bernie "Goofus" Graebener and Mike "Gallant" St Amour seems appropriate here.
Chasey and Forman can keep their nicknames, however since Kennedy was called the "invertebrate" and probably didn't know what it meant, we can rename him and dumb it down to make it easier for Bill.
Bill "The spineless (invertebrate), stupid, lying, egotistical, volatile, two-faced, phony, conniving, PIECE OF SHIT (the last one is in memory of Larry) Kennedy" and yes, I realize Bill might have to look up a few of those words and I can only hope he has access to a dictionary (that's a book Bill, where you look up what words mean).
I was at a doctor's office yesterday and the lady next to me started chatting. She asked me where I was from and I told her Mullica Twp.. Her eyes widened and with a smile on her face she said "Oh my God, I read in the paper all the time what goes on in that town."
Thank you committee members for making us the laughing stock of the County.

You are retarded because you cannot differentiate between a mayor who is assaulted and a mayor who does the assaulting. You think that us taxpayers should have to pay Kennedy's legal fees because he cant keep his hands to himself? Huh? Bernie - you are a disgrace and I plan on telling you that the next time I see you. Following your logic, the mayor can do whatever he wants to whomever he wants without any ramifications. So what he was talking about the town....HE, Kennedy was the one that threw the punch!!!! As bad as Mullica is, at least there is always Atlantic City to look at to make us feel better.
I think Graebener has no balls. He,s as bad as the KFC team!!! You let down so many people & i bet you dont care!!! Your as useful as Kennedy Chasey & the Foreman.... We all made a big mistake voting you in!!

I think the biggest mistake Graebener ever made in his life was supporting Kennedy for this last election. Voting for this payment just added insult to injury. Kennedy is a snake and no amount of support will change his nature. Let's see how his "friend" treats him in the future. Kennedy was a fake from day one and has always belonged to the Republicans.
