Wharton State Forest Fire Update

As seen around and reported to the Gadfly site:

Heavy smoke has again blanketed parts of Route 206 and parts of the White Horse Pike in Hammonton. Sections of Route 206 were re-closed today between the White Horse Pike and Tuckerton Road, which is north of Atsion Lake.

Extremely poor visibility was reported on the White Horse Pike in Hammonton and heavy blankets of smoke have moved into sections of Nesco due to changing wind direction.

Please take caution when driving in these areas and remember to use your headlights when driving through smoky areas.
