The Board of Education of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District is in the process of naming the school, and selecting the mascot and the colors for the new high school.
We are asking you to assist us in this endeavor. We are asking for an essay of 250 words or less,a poem or a song which explains why your choice would be the most appropriate for the new high school. A $100 savings bond honorarium for the name of the school, and a $100 savings bond for the mascot and school colors donated by the Ralph Martin Foundation will be provided to the person whose selection is chosen. The Board of Education will make the final decision on all items. The time period for the process will be from October 6, 2008 through December 1, 2008 with the selection being made in early January 2009.
