Carpenter's Local Gives Back; Members of Atlantic County Union Carpenter's Local 623 top off the the Oakcrest High School Girls' Softball dugouts by building and shingling the roofs. Local 623 Business Agent, E. "Bud" Eggie assembled a group of approximately 40 members, including a handful of Oakcrest alumni. Materials for the job were donated by Bluegrass Services' owner Wendy Chamberlain, a mother of two softball team players along with Gordon Craig of Craig Testing.
