Subject: Township Meeting on TV: Larry, your description of the committee meeting on January 22nd piqued my interest so I recorded channel 78 from 5 to 8 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Since it was not telecast then, do you know if it will be on tv this coming weekend?
RESPONSE: The Meeting will be on TV, Saturday, February 2nd at 6 P.M. As you were not the only person to reach out to GadFly to see why the Town Meeting was NOT on TV last Saturday...inquiries were made at Town Hall. No one contacted Town Hall to report that the Tuesday Meeting had not been on TV...and not one Township employee apparently gives a damn about what is happening in the community to have attempted to watch. A call to Comcast while I was there resulted in a report that it should have been broadcast the past Saturday at 6 P.M. -- but a further check indicated that it had not been ... as several GadFly readers reported ... and now we have the promise of it being on TV this Saturday.
Apparently, Mullica residents who desire to know what is going on in our community have come to the conclusion that a better source of information is GadFly than Town Hall. Township employees who are sloping at the public trough are undoubtedly pleased not to be bothered.

The Gadfly tries to fill the void by alerting the residents of meetings, events and articles of local interest from various sources. Most importantly, it gives a voice to the people. All residents are invited to share their opinions with anonymity or signed under each article posted.
Everyone is invited to send in articles of interest, announcements, letters of your concerns or opinions and even tips about what's going on in your neighborhood that needs investigation.
