Subject: Re: How locals dodge the C.O. and other things that go BANG near horses: Thanks for posting, although I read the law that you posted and TOTALLY do not agree with your take on it. Another thought on a posting today about the discussion of another gun control law in Mullica, you wrote that concerned gun owners and irrational memebers of the NRA showed up because of a "leak", not posted on the agenda.....what happened to green and affordable being OPEN with the public. Was somebody trying to sneak something in? The more things change, the more they stay the smae, hey lar? JoeP

RESPONSE: Sort of an interesting dynamic here regarding what is on and what is not on the agenda. Newly elected Democrat Grabener apparently in the interest of sharing information and working together and not in the back room ... gave the two Republican members of THE CORRUTP MULLICA 5 AKA IDIOTS R US input as to the fact that he intended to raise during his turn during Committee Reports, two left over matters under consideration last year to see if the new 2008 Committee wished to go forward--or not with these things that were already in the hopper.

This keeping other members of the Committee of the other Party informed is obviously something new and encouraging. I meant to indicate that apparently janet THE AUTO INSURANCE FRAUD QUEEN OF ATLANTIC COUNTY forman who it is rumored supported the idea last year of limiting the firing of guns too close to the home of others...now saw a political opportunity to score cheap points and told a number of people that the Democrats had an interest in limiting their Second Amendment rights.

Respectfully, as disappointed as I am with some aspects of how the KEEP MULLICA GREEN AND AFFORDABLE team have conducted themselves so far -- regarding the issue of openness and transparency...in this case… criticism would seem unfair. Like the other Ordinance from 2007...the Sign Ordinance...nothing will occur without the matter being on the agenda and a public Hearing being held. I further remind you that the Ordinance apparently under consideration regarding the control of firing weapons near neighbors' homes was a copy of the Tabernacle Ordinance which seemed from the little I heard to be a reasonable compromise Ordinance to protect the rights of gun owners and to protect the safety of others.
