Subject: NPR & PBS FAN: Dearest NPR and PBS Fan, I am SO glad that you have not been bored (yet) with any of my postings on religion or gun control. You may be the only one. Let me assure you that I take your "complaint" to heart. The next time, which would be the first time, that I misinform the Gadfly readers about anything of a factual nature, I will apologize. Clearly, we are not in dispute over any facts are we? Positions on guns, religion and taxes are almost never factually based, but more tied to a belief or a perspective, rooted in ones experiences and environments....would you not agree? That being said, many of the Mullicans have deep running blood lines to these sweet and swampy waters of the mighty Mullica. These old time Mullicans and many recent converted Mullicans enjoy the freedoms that come with living in a rural setting. Mullicaman respects Mr. Angel very much and appreciates his viewpoints . As Gadfly will tell you, there have been many things that I have agreed with Gadfly on that were considered very unpopular, thus placing us in the overwhelming minority of the electorate. Larry, remember Hagaman's prayer at the Reorg meeting? Well, here I go again, having to hold my nose as I defend Ms. Forman.....but that Republican Kool Aid taste so good going down....hmmmm......but I have to do it to represent all of the "facts" as you so demand. Ms. Forman was NOT asked to give a complete list of reasons why people want to become Mullicans, the issue at hand was a proposed gun control ordinance. In response to that issue and that issue only, she did respond by saying that people moved to Mullica to fire their guns FACT. However, I assure you if you asked any Mullica resident(including Ms. Forman) why they moved here in general, you would get an exhaustive list of reasons why. And I bet a lot of peop le would list our wonderful school system, our rural character, fishing, hunting, privacy, etc. So Mr. NPR/PBS FAN, looks like you may have distorted the facts yourself my stating that Ms. Forman's statement was, as you stated, "ludicrous". One more thing, your last statement makes me wonder if you really shouldn't have signed your posting, "Fox News", since you appear to take up the Republican fear-mongering tactic when you state, "your neighbor may be discharging a gun legally that may go through your house and hit your kids as though you lived in Philadelphia". Mr. Facts only, can you please substantiate that statement with any facts or statistics? Please let the mighty Mullicaman know what child in Mullica Township was hit with a bullet that came through their house? For that matter, what adult has been hit with a bullet that came through their house? Oh, no facts to back up that st atement? I guess I can kiss another fan of Mullicaman goodbye. Pucker up! Mullicaman!!!!!!!
u>RESPONSE: Gee, that may make me the only Mullicaman fan left standing. However, I did want to take issue with the representations by janet THE AUTO INSURANCE FRAUD QUEEN OF ATLANTIC COUNTY forman as to my opinion...not factual knowledge...that any prospective person considering moving to Mullica ... has anywhere on their hierarchy list of things regarding moving here...the random or even stray thought ... hey, I can target practice within 5' of my neighbor's house, so this is where I want to live.
Sorry, Mullicaman's reach here simply exceeds my grasp and sounds a bit desperate in the attempt to defend a position rather than to seek some kind of rational compromise that leaves all parties with dignity. Sometimes neighbors cannot resolve disputes as adults... but when that happens, maybe Mullicaman prefers that our Chief of Police, joe THE LANDLORD barbera attempt to redress the problem by lying about what the Law says and what it does not say as he claims he has done in the past.
