’NO DUMP’ SIGN REMOVAL CEREMONY

A brief Saturday April 7th ceremony attended by about thirty people was held to commemorate the Pinelands victory and Federal Court decree that in perpetuity will preclude the old Perona Bros. Junk Yard site on the Pike from being used as a garbage rail transfer station. Pictured below is Mary Hunt, Chair Person of ‘Concerned Citizens of Mullica’ group who gave a short speech acknowledging the bipartisan efforts of all involved. Named by Ms. Hunt for their assistance were Republicans Dennis Levinson, Frank LoBiondo, Jim Curcio, Frank Finnerty, Bill Gormely, et al, and Democrats Frank Lautenberg, Jon Corzine, Joe Kelly, Acting Governor Cody, et al. (Some of these not deserving the acknowledgment they received.) Also Ms. Hunt acknowledged the testimony of Mullica’s Mayor Kathy Chasey in Washington D.C. Excerpts from the ceremony made Channel 40 as NBC had a camera crew present. Also in attendance were Mullica Committeemen Dan Turygan and Bill Kennedy.

It is important now to move forward and put aside political Party differences as the property in question is owned by steve THE SCOFFLAW waszen who as the deserved sobriquet indicates is a plague of bad business practices on every property he owns as operator of Magic Disposal garbage haulers. Rumored efforts to ‘spot zone’ the property in return for campaign contributions to make it a more marketable entity for some kind of dense housing should be opposed by all. GadFly is pleased to point out the fact that Republican officials seem to have seen through the efforts of County Republican players ($$$ tim THE GIRLY MAN SHYSTER maguire & jim THE ETHICALLY CHALLENGED curcio $$$ to sell-out the interests of the Mullica community and aid THE SCOFFLAW waszen. Let's move on and fight the efforts to betray the interests of Mullica, together.
