ANOTHER DRUG BUST IN MULLICA

(Mullica Police Department Press Release) “On Wednesday April 4th 2007 the Mullica Twp. Police Department executed a narcotics Distribution Search Warrant in the Wharton Park section of Mullica Twp. The search warrant was obtained after several undercover purchases of cocaine were made from the residence identified as 508 Arrow Road during the past month. Officers recovered a quantity of cocaine with a street value of approximately $800.00. The search warrant resulted in the arrest of four individuals:

1.) Harry Tennant, 26 of 508 Arrow Road, Hammonton was charged with possession and distribution of cocaine in quantity of under ½ ounce. Tennant was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $10,00.00 cash bail.
2.) Thomas L. Hepburn 50, of 508 Arrow Road, Hammonton was charged with two separate counts of possession and distribution of cocaine. Hepburn was lodged at the A.C.J.F. in lieu of $20,000.00 cash bail. (Note; the mailing address is Hammonton but the house at 508 Arrow is in Mullica Twp.)
3.) Audry Hawkins, 39 of Galloway Twp. Was lodged in the ACJF for non-support
4.) Virgil Buckman, 34 of Hammonton was charged and released with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

This search warrant was just the latest in the ongoing efforts to curb the illicit drug use and distribution habits of some individuals in Mullica Twp. The Atlantic County Emergency Response Team, the Pleasantville and Egg Harbor city Police Departments as well as the New Jersey State Police K9 Unity assisted on scene.
