Subject: Re: No limit to their arrogance: Larry thanks for reminding us of the enormous gap between the words and deeds of the Bush family. It must be fairly easy from the comfort of the president's office to order troops into battle. But to have one's own family, especially nuclear family, in the harm's way of war must be quite different. The harm's way must shift thinking from abstract numbers to blood and guts. President Bush has sanitized his family — and to a large part the country — from the blood and guts and sacrifices. I think he should send his daughters into the war zone, and he should try to raise everyone's taxes (well, every well-off person) so that we feel a tiny bit of the pain and horror of this flawed war.
