RESPONSE: Well, steve THE SCOFFLAW waszen is scheduled to be in Court on Tuesday on April 5th. As usual he does nothing in terms of cleaning up the property for months and then low and behold a few days before his scheduled Court appearance there is some perfunctory work on the Perona site on the Pike. The last Court appearance gave him another few months to have the property totally clean -- being only a green field of grass. Take a look and see.

The daily fine imposed by the Judge of $150/day is still in effect and would be waived if the property were clean by April 5, 2005. Remember, the original Court Order called for the property to be in this condition by April of 2004. What angers here is the acceptance of the blatant lies told by the “wuzzy” lawyer (Declemente) representing THE SCOFFLAW waszen. He has stated repeatedly that workers have been out there working to clean up the property every day. And that THE SCOFFLAW has spent $1.3 million so far in its clean up effort. As a lawyer and officer of the Court and of course someone with a stock ownership in THE SCOFFLAW’S Magic Disposal, he has a legal obligation when speaking to the Judge not to LIE. Someone should ask that he be disbarred.

As wisely noted; the difference between a lawyer and a rooster is that the rooster gets up in the morning and clucks defiance. That only seems to validate the representations here that he has violated his oath as a lawyer to place his client’s interests over his County Republican ties...the County Republicans view Mullica as the perfect transit lay over spot for Atlantic City casino garbage.
