Subject: Shameless!! Larry, President Bush amazes me. His chief talent has always been the ability to make the most outrageous statements with a straight face, but he has outdone himself this time. Regarding the sad case of Terri Schiavo and whether or not to remove her feeding tube, he said "it is always better to err on the side of life" - and he didn't even choke on the words. This is the man who was governor of Texas for a six year period during which 152 people were executed. What are the odds that some of those were poor people ineffectually represented by counsel? That some might have been innocent people? Larry, where was the desire to "err on the side of life" there? He is shameless.
