Subject: Mullica Rescue Squad: Hi Larry, I really think Millica Squad shouldn't have Hammonton come out all the time. Some people in our community don't have money or Insurance. If people were not afraid of Gary this would never had happened. We don't tell Dispatchers what to do our finest Dispatches should go ahead and Dispatch any Squad they want. For example Egg Harbor City yeah it's hard to get crews out.I am sure they would get somebody from EHC to cover our Township. Because Gary don't like EHC cause every EMT from Elwood wouldn't join his sorry Squad so they went to the best. Kristen
RESPONSE: There are many people in our community who don't have money or insurance as you correctly note and when an emergency arises and as happens most of the time Mullica's Rescue Squad doesn't respond because they don't have a crew the call goes to Hammonton. Despite paying property taxes for a Rescue Squad this person now receives from the Hammonton Squad a very large bill, and when there is a failure to pay the Hammonton Squad turns the bill over to a collection agency.
This is but another example of how THE CORRUPT MULLICA 5 AKA IDIOTS R US fail the residents of our community. People paying taxes for a service and not receiving it and then when an emergency occurs they have to pay a second time for ambulance service. Many other communities who have decided to give up volunteer Rescue Squads and go to paid services structure the contract so that insurance companies and government insurance (Medicaid) are billed and if a person has neither there is no bill...this still allows the paid service to meet its financil obligations and provides the service and saves tax dollars for the town
The present system in Mullica has residents paying in property taxes or other taxes and often not getting the ambulance service their payments should provide. Or they are paying twice for the same service when they have private insurance. Remember that the purchase of ambulances, which run about $250,000 each are paid for with your property tax dollars and Mullica has two. In addition, the Squad every year gets thousands of taxpayer’s dollars for a service it doesn’t provide and as noted when Hammonton is called Mullica residents are billed. It is way past time to explore the option of going to a paid service which will actually save the taxpayers of Mullica thousands of dollars and abandon gary THE MUKTAR franklyn....Mullica’s arithmetic man; who adds trouble, subtracts pleasure, divides attention, and multiplies ignorance; all summed up as a costly rationale for continuing to fund a service that feeds his ego, but the bottom line just doesn’t support.
