Elwood VFC Golf Tournament

The Forever Logan Strong Foundation was honored to be chosen as the recipient of the Elwood Fire Co. golf outing on Saturday, September 28th. Our family was the recipient in 2014 when Logan was diagnosed with brain cancer. We have attended and helped out each year since then. Our family was just informed on Sunday of a family in Mullica who is in need of financial support. We had no idea that Scott Ponzetti is in a fight for his life fighting stage 4 cancer. We are on Facebook regularly but never came across his story. We’ve never heard his name mentioned outside of social media either. Our first thought after being told about him and his wife Sharon Marie was that we need to help them so we reached out to the fire company and after a meeting with them last night it was agreed upon that Scott and his wife will be receiving a percentage of monies raised at the golf outing. The amount they are to be given will depend on what is raised that day. If you’d like to be a part of the outing you can sign up to golf, if you’re not a golfer you can purchase a lunch ticket for $30. If you wish not to purchase a lunch ticket there will be a Chinese auction along with a 50/50 you can come be a part of. The Ponzetti’s need all the support we can give them. Sponsors are needed and if you chose to be one a sign will be placed at a hole with your name on it. Sponsorship starts at $100 and go up to $1500.
