New Medical Marijuana Law
Governor Murphy signed the Jake Honig Compassionate Use Medical Cannabis Act. The new law provides for a number of changes to the program that the Department will be implementing as quickly as possible. .
To that end, the Division of Medicinal Marijuana directed all current Alternative Treatment Centers to stop enforcing monthly purchase limits for terminal patients and their caregivers. That means that patients diagnosed in the registry as either "Terminal Illness" or "Terminal Cancer" can now purchase as much as they need in any given month - instead of being limited to 2 ounces.
