Severe Thunderstorm Watch

The combination of high heat, moisture in the atmosphere and an approaching cold front has brought a severe thunderstorm watch back into the picture.

3 to 8 p.m. will be the time to watch for thunderstorms, and severe weather, in South Jersey.
It is important to note that not everyone will see a thunderstorm. Furthermore, severe weather will only be possible. Still, this is what will be most expected, in order of likelihood.
Strong winds that bring down large tree limbs, power lines and blown over lawn furniture.
Hail, though most should stay in the sub-severe, less than one inch in diameter range
Roadway flooding, especially in built-up areas, including the shore.
A tornado, which will be very close to a 0% chance.
