Francis
and I had the pleasure of being invited to the ceremony of Stone
Russell. This young man and his troop are the ones who made our wooden
benches at the Historical Society in October. He was presented with his
Eagle Scout honor. Presentation of the Eagle Awards was very nice. Stone
and friend Cole Kraft both were honored as Eagle Scouts. One of the
nicest presentation was to their parents. Pinning them both for the
dedication to make sure that they were everywhere they needed
to be, and for their encouragement and support. The Eagle Scouts also
received a flag the flew over the Capitol the day of official
determination date June 5th 2019. I thought it was a wonderful
presentation from beginning to end. I would like to thank the Troop
Leader's Tom McGee, James Taggart, Bob Carpenter. Honored guests:
American Legion Post 430, US Marine Corps League, Atlantic County parks
Commission, and Mullica In the Pines Historical Society.
