MEMORIAL DAY IN MULLICA TOWNSHIP
We begin the day honoring our servicemen and servicewomen at the Batsto Pleasant Mills Cemetery. The Mullica Township V.F.W. Post 5043 Memorial Day Program begins at 9:30 am. Rain or shine. The Mullica in the Pines Historical Society will host a social under the trees, at the Hilda Frame School, Nesco Road, Nesco after the ceremony. The entire Community is invited. Our Guest Speaker for Memorial Day will be, Suzanne Phillis Blanchet Hirst, niece of William Kay Phillis POW/MIA/KIA Serviceman. Stop by and check out our Patriotic Display,. EGG HARBOR CITY MEMORIAL DAY PARADE: 9:30 a.m. line-up in front of the American Legion Post #158, 527 Philadelphia Ave., Egg Harbor City; 10 a.m. proceeds down Philadelphia Avenue, ending at the Lincoln Park on the White Horse Pike for the ceremony and placing of wreaths at the monument. 609-965-0081 or EggHarborCity.org.

Atlantic County – Veteran’s Memorial Day Program
35th Annual Atlantic County Veteran’s Memorial Day Program, Friday, May 24th at 2 p.m. Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery – Atlantic County Veterans Park – Route 50 – Estell Manor. Featuring keynote speaker Mark L. Loeben, Major General (Ret.) United States Air Force, Defense Superior Service Medal and Legion of Merit honoree.
