Vincent Mark DeSalvo R.I.P.

DeSalvo, Vincent Mark, - 85, of Mullica Township, passed away peacefully into God's eternal kingdom on October 28, 2018. Vince was born in Philadelphia on February 12, 1933 to Giuseppe and Rose (nee Lanza) and was a resident of Mullica Township for the past 60 years. An avid CB enthusiast, he enjoyed talking to his friends throughout the country. He also enjoyed tinkering around with his jeep and was a lifelong fan of the New York Giants. His greatest pride and joy was watching his two Grandsons playing baseball, where he could faithfully be found cheering them on from the sidelines. A proud Korean War Veteran, Vince served as Corporal in Company C, 809th Engineer Aviation Battalion. Because of his wartime service he enjoyed all things related to history. Vince was a parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Hammonton and was devoted to reciting the Rosary daily until his health declined.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday morning 10:00AM-11:00AM at St Mary of Mt Carmel Parish St Anthony of Padua Church 285 Rt. 206 Hammonton, NJ 08037. Funeral Mass 11AM. Interment with military honors to follow at the Atlantic County Veteran's Cemetery Estell Manor, NJ.
