Minerva Luz Rodriguez R.I.P.


Rodriguez, Luz Minerva, - 69, of Mullica Township, was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico on December 6, 1948 and passed away peacefully on September 24, 2018. A loving wife, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother, Minerva was also a remarkable seamstress, artist, and choir director for 30 years amongst her many other talents. She loved baking, arts and crafts, organizing, puzzle making and teaching others how to sing for the Lord. For many years leading up to her passing, she showed incredible strength surviving through her complicated health issues. She was dedicated to her St. Joseph's church family as well as serving on the Board of Trustees, Parish Council, Cursillo, Legion of Mary and spearheading programs such as a Children's Choir, Daughters of Mary and the Strategic Army of Christ.
Luz also worked for 32 years as an Instructional Aide for Mullica Township Schools.

  A viewing celebrating her life, will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM and again on Friday September 28, 2018 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S 3rd St, Hammonton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St. Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. (www.carnesalefuneralhome.com)

MTEA is sad to learn that a retired member of our Association has passed away. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Luz Rodriguez served our Mullica Township School District for 32 years as an Instructional Aide. May her memory be a blessing to her family.
