NJ 1.7 Mag. Earthquake

MORRISTOWN, New Jersey (WABC) --

The United States Geological Survey reports that there was a 1.7 magnitude earthquake about 1.24 miles SSW of Morristown, New Jersey.

It happened at around 6:35 p.m. on Monday.

People had reported hearing a loud boom, and some people say they felt their houses shake.
