Mullica, Egg Harbor City Police Merger Off Indefinitely

What happened with Kennedy on this? Wasn't he heading this study for Mullica? Why wasn't he interviewed? He's MIA in this story.
No one wanted this merger anyway. It was ill-conceived from the start and apparently was something concocted by the Chief, supported only by Kennedy.
I can't imagine why anyone living in Mullica would think this is a good idea. Egg Harbor City with its downtown area and many bars would seem to have a much higher crime rate than Mullica. It is hard to say how we would get a fair shake. Mullica police have a large area to cover, but on the few occasions I have had to call them their response time was excellent.
Kennedy probably didn't even know the merger was off, even though it's his department.
Mullica would have been sucked into helping control EHC's crime rate. How many cops did their new Chief say EHC will need, 25? It would have been a loosing situation for Mullica's taxpayers. No one is surprised that it didn't go through, despite what Chasey says in the article.
If you watched the meeting,nobody from the rescue squad approached Kennedy about coming back,either.
It looks like Chasey is running the whole town by herself. She did 90% of the talking and decision making. Forman is not taking control as Mayor and looks like another Chasey puppet.
Kennedy has quickly become superfluous.
Not only has he become superfluous, but its almost like he doesnt matter.
Yes, they got what they wanted and he has no useful purpose and he doesn't matter any longer. The real question is, does Bill understand this or will he even see what has happened?
I'm sure they'll kiss his ass when they need his vote on something.
Why would they have to kiss Kennedy's ass to get his vote for anything? He's already vowed not vote with Graebener and St. Amour. He'll come along.
Who could ever trust Kennedy? If they get on his nerves he might change his vote just to spite Forman and Chasey. He's just playing games for his own reasons, doesn't care about anything and has the emotional stability of a 2 year old.
Hey Kennedy does allot of good for the "community", just the other day he single handedly pulled the prosecutor aside and had him dismiss a ticket for one of his pal's. If that is not being community minded I don't know what is.
What's the point of being head of public safety if it doesn't come with a few office perks?
Isn't that considered ticket fixing?
Was Kennedy out bragging about all his illegal acts again? I wonder who sent him on this mission of mercy.
This needs a whole story! You've got a committeeman,a prosecutor,a judge,the police and the "pal"in this tangled web.
I would rule out Barbera, Forman and Chasey because I don't think a cop here would ever give them a ticket or they would squash it on their own. So the rest of his "pals" would consist of his family members and a FEW firemen.
This is a slap in the face to our Police Dept.. That cop gave out that ticket for a good reason and our "Director of Public Safety" had no business interfering at the court. What is wrong with the Prosecutor and the Judge to go along with this?
Just another example of the cronyism in this town!
I'm only surprised because I really believed that Kennedy supported the Police Dept.. At the last meeting, he was up there praising the Police for all the tickets they gave out.
I think Kennedy, the Judge and the prosecutor have insulted our whole Police Dept.by their actions.
It's things like this that bring down a Dept.'s moral.
It must have been a new cop. They probably forgot to tell him that only "podunkians" and out-of-towners get tickets here.
If I were a cop,I'd be looking the other way from now on.
Why bother doing your job if some joker, who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground,is going to come along and interfere just because he has some official label.
I'm even more amazed that the Prosecutor and Judge have shown themselves to be so stupid and corrupt by going along with this "Joker".
If this is what truly happened, Kennedy has no business interfering in court business like this.
Is this true or more of Bill's braggadocio? Let's face it, the man cannot shut his mouth about anything.
If it is true, what was the ticket for? There would have to be a final disposition on the ticket and why was it dropped. Was it a moving violation? Who was it dropped for?
There are a million questions I am hoping someone will be able to answer.
That man has absolutely no brains at all. There is no filter between his ears,his eyes and his mouth.
He caused all his own problems at that school board meeting yelling about how he entered Larry's house and seemed so proud of it.
Now,I can see him going around town trying to show what a big man he is because he can squash tickets. Maybe he's looking to pick up some "friends" that are impressed with his "power".
Doesn't this fool realize that these things are illegal?
I don't know what happened in this case but it definitely needs to be looked into. Either all people have to be cleared or found guilty in this matter.
This is a pretty serious matter when it involves a Judge,Prosecutor,and a committeeman.
How can they be expected to be fair and unbias in cases when they let the "in" people off?
Can one of you legal experts tell me how to go about investigating this claim? Who do you talk to in this town that will tell you the truth about this matter?
I know that those tickets are numbered and can't just disappear.The people involved are already trying to think of ways to clean up this mess.

You're telling us that the prosecutor actually pulled a ticket for one of Kennedy's friends.
This is a serious matter.
Is there any possible legal explanation for how this could happen?
If the prosecutor was pulled aside,I am assuming that the case never made it in front of the judge.
Those tickets are recorded and just can't be thrown away.
It has to be on the record what happened to the charges and who signed off on them and why it wasn't heard by the judge.
All courts are corrupt. Why would anyone expect Mullica's to be any different?

I guess the Prosecutor believes that all men are equal,but some are more equal than others.
Or maybe it's a situation of one hand washes the other.
Whatever happened, it really looks bad for Mullica's court system.
I see it's been a busy day!

This should not be swept under the rug.

The real question is why does Kennedy sit in the Court while it is session? The ticket was not discarded, it was dismissed on the record while Kennedy sat in the back of the court. It was not an overt thing but was clear as day. His "pal" was someone who rides in firetrucks. enough said. The court records are public records, ask to find out whose ticketes were dismissed this past court session. The rest is up to you.
You know isnt that guy Chris Christie famous for rooting out corruption? Maybe he can look into this? Oh forgot he's running for Governor as a Republican. Mullica is just small potatoes to him.
This is rediculous, kennedy fixing tickets for friends, employees working on their own projects during township time, allegedly..... Where is Larry when we need him....
I'd love to see Kennedy investigated for ticket fixing. State law requires officials to forfeit their positions if they have been convicted of a crime in which they abused their powers of office.
I guess that this is part of Mullica's special traffic safety campaign, Ticket and Fixit.
This is definitely an abuse of power by everybody involved if it happened.
Did any other people in that courtroom get their cases dismissed?
