BILL KENNEDY MAKES THE AIRWAVES

Reported to the Gadfly just moments ago, SoJo 104.9 FM radio, in their morning news briefs this AM, reported that Mullica Township's Deputy Mayor, William Kennedy, intends to sue the township for not paying for his legal expenses stemming from a criminal complaint filed against him last year. Can Bill's book deal and Oprah appearance be far behind?

Please note: They called it a CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AND NOT A FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT and, for the record, it was a criminal complaint.

Kennedy has to sue because he already took $1,000 from the taxpayers. For him to not sue says that he shouldn't have taken that money.

I missed the broadcast but I hope a lot of people heard it. Everyone in Mullica knows that Kennedy doesn't have the brains or money to know how to proceed with this. If a lawsuit is filed, I have a feeling that Chasey and Forman will be the ones pulling the strings on their puppet again.
There are already rumors going around town that at the last meeting Chasey and Forman brought up the idea of a lawsuit to Bill.
Whatever happens in court, they are not going to look good to the taxpayers.

It was also news on New Jersey 101.5 this morning also and they're a statewide radio broadcast. I am sure it's being picked up by a lot of stations now.

Thanks Bill for making an ass out of Mullica once again.

It always hurts me so deeply when I hear people make fun of Mullica. But for the actions of a few kooks, we have a great community. We have clean fresh air, green trees and space to breathe that fresh air. When was the last time they reported on the good that happens in Mullica. We have a top notch school right here; our children receive the best education arguably in the State. We enjoy reasonably stable and high property values; we have the Mullica River within a stone throw from our backyard. Crime is low; we all know each other and when times are hard help each other.
My wife and I shall always be appreciative of the Elwood Fire Company for their kind support when our daughter was in need. I admit that Mr. Kennedy was one of the people who spearheaded that effort. Believe it or not Bill has a sense of dignity somewhere within him, he just lost his moral compass due to two very cunning individuals who managed to steer him wrong.
I have worked in Atlantic City and the surrounding areas for most of my adult life; I would not change the woods of Mullica for the biggest mansion in the city. Please don’t judge all of us humble Mullicans based on the actions of a few.

Always a Proud Mullican.

How stupid is Kennedy? Can't he see that Forman and Chasey are throwing him under the bus by recommending that he sue? They are telling him that it will reflect poorly on Democrats, but in reality it just reflects poorly on Kennedy. The entire town will be reminded of his boorish behavior. The more that Kennedy denies his actions, the more guilty he looks. I seem to remember a former President insisting that he "didn't have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinksy." We all know the stain that this left on his image (pun intended). Does anyone believe that Kennedy would be honest and own up to his own actions? Certainly not the people who know Kennedy best.

Maybe it will be on channel 40 TV tonight. I think he had a lot of nerve asking to be reimbursed in the first place. He had no business raising his hands to anyone. Taxpayer money should not be wasted on an incident like this.

I read the story today(1/30)about the Galloway chief that was denied payment by the Joint Insurance Fund (J.I.F.)which is funded by taxes. Does Kennedy have to file his complaint with the State Appellate Court?
If he loses, will the Township and J.I.F. be forced to sue him to get the first $1000 back?
I might be wrong, but I think the J.I.F. Fund is comprised of multiple community contributions,so it's not just involving Mullica.
So many questions!! This should be very interesting.

I don't know where the case will be heard but I hope it is a State Judge. I hope he gets to review the whole case and gets to see the mentality of our Ex-Mayor.
If it is a State case, then all of N.J. will see what we have to deal with here.

One good thing, the case won't be held in Mullica. Conflict of interest for all parties.
Whatever happens with this should clear up all questions about the law and it's applications.
I cannot believe that a judge would approve giving Kennedy one penny.

I have no idea how this is going to play out
