Harry Massarelli R.I.P.


Massarelli, Harry, - 88, of Hammonton, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday Oct 3, 2018. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 16, 1930 and grew up in Hammonton, NJ. Harry worked for Hammonton Park Clothes of Hammonton and as a foreman for W.B. Kessler's plant in Elkton MD. Harry started his own business designing and manufacturing wooden lawn ornaments out of his and his father's garage that were sold all along the east coast. He continued his wood business and later owned and operated 222 Farm Market in Mullica Township. He later moved to Egg Harbor City opening Harry's Garden Center with his wife, Lena and his family for more than 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family, faithfully going to Church, fishing, going to the casino, playing Skip-Bo and watching his favorite television shows.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church Third & French Streets Hammonton, NJ. Family and friends are invited to a Church viewing from 9:30 a.m. to11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Rd. Hammonton, NJ. Donations in memory of Harry are welcomed to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 226 French Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
