The deadline is approaching to register to vote in the November election in New Jersey.
Residents have until Tuesday, Oct. 16 to register to vote for the Nov. 6 election.
Prospective voters can download a voter registration application and mail or deliver it to the county commissioner of registration or superintendent of elections in your county.

To register, you must
be a United States citizen, a resident of the county for at least 30
days ahead of the election and at least 17 years old (you can’t vote
until you turn 18).
You cannot be currently serving a sentence, probation or parole due to a felony conviction.

Jersey students attending college in the state can register to vote by
using the application process, and can either register from a college
address or the student’s parents’ address.
