MULLICA SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAMS
Two upcoming school music programs; Tonight, May 17th, at 7 P.M. the Middle School band will perform for the public. On Thursday, May 24th the Middle School Chorus will perform. These are worthwhile nights out for our community and are free.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Elementary School Writers’ Reception took place with a ‘Bohemian Coffee Shop’ readings. All elementary Mullica School students had written poems and yesterday was the day each child read to their assembled grade level. The ambiance of a 1950s Bohemian Coffee Shop Poetry Reading might have been lost on the kids…but it was right on the mark. GadFly was impressed with room ambiance and respect the kids gave one another’s reading after poking in on the 4th Grade Class readings. These School events help to bring our community together and are worthwhile as well as entertaining for all of us to attend.
Hey, and Friday, May 18th is Family Movie Night…come on out and join your neighbors with the family movie presentation of ‘Night at the Museum.’ The event at the rec. soccer field off Elwood Road starts at 8:15 P.M. and is free…food will be sold…the movie shown on a 20’ screen is sponsored by the PTA and Education Foundation and is a great family event…children must be with adults.

Larry Angel's unique,colorful writing style could never be duplicated,so the Gadfly has undergone many changes over the years.
Mullica Township is a Pine Barren community without a town newspaper or news letter, no televised or internet committee meetings and no press reporters at the meetings.
The Gadfly tries to fill the void by alerting the residents of meetings, events and articles of local interest from various sources. Most importantly, it gives a voice to the people. All residents are invited to share their opinions with anonymity or signed under each article posted.
Everyone is invited to send in articles of interest, announcements, letters of your concerns or opinions and even tips about what's going on in your neighborhood that needs investigation.
